Notes
  • Significance: A fine example of an early nineteenth-century, free-standing town house, this dwelling has been carefully restored to regain its original character. The guest house recently built in the same style and the extensive garden serve to create a setting which enhances the charm of the old house. Teresa Brent-Fenwick was born in 1767 in Charles County, MD and she married Col. James Fenwick (1763-1823).
  • Unprocessed Field note material exists for this structure: FN-19
  • Survey number: HABS DC-83
